We are simply stoked on foiling and feel the need to prove it to you. With that said we introduce Foilapalooza, a celebration of all things foiling.
We’ve circled Saturday March 22nd on the Calendar with one thing in mind; share our love for the sport of Foiling. So whether you Pump Foil or SUP Foil, whether you eFoil or Surf Foil we’ll have something for everyone.
The day will start out with some Foil Sprint racing in SUP and Pump Foil categories. We’ll have an eFoil Demo Day, free classes and clinics, new product announcements, and if the wind participates a Wing Foil expression session.
Here’s how the day will roll.
9am Sprint Foil racing till 10:30 am
10am eFoil Demo time starts ($100 for 30 minutes RSVP required)
12pm Clinic #1 Foiling Physics. Science and Foiling collide in this seminar geared toward understanding the design choices. From mast height, to fuselage length. Aspect Ratios, Construction Pro’s and cons, and so much more. Grab you notebook and your pocket protector and learn everything you need to match your gear to your spot and your ability.
1pm – Pump Foiling Demo (free to all)
1:30pm – Clinic #2 On land learn to fly the wing class (free)
2pm – Wing Foil Expression Session Freestyle Contest
All day long social – Light Refreshments and Snacks served. Feel free to bring a potluck dish.
All day long see the latest gear from F4 Foils and Fliteboard
There is a fantastic Food Truck, The Bluefish Kitchen is on site so bring the whole family and hang out at the waters edge in our picnic area and take it all in.
If you are interested in eFoil demos you will need to sign up here. Demo days are the best way to try foiling without breaking the bank. Normally you’d have to spend over $350 on a lesson. Our demo days are all about giving everyone a chance to foil at a much lower cost and here’s how it works.
The cost to demo $100 and you’ll have 30 minutes on the water. Since we wont have time for a full lesson we’ll focus on just the basics of safety and operation and get you off and riding as quickly as possible. A guide will be on the water with you during the session. Demo days are great for anyone looking to find out what foiling is all about. If you have never done another board sport (skate, surf, windsurf, kite etc..) you should probably consider a full lesson with more detailed instructor attention.
Typically experienced riders can be up and flying in 5-10 minutes! Space is limited on Demo Days so Advanced sign up is required! We’ll add those links soon.
