All staff are welcome to attend, whether you are service user/patient facing or not.
Core content will include:
- An overview of the gut microbiome, why it is important and how nourishing it is key for optimal health
- Why a compassionate approach matters, and how we can ALL be healthier regardless of body shape or size.
- The impact of food processing on nutrient quality and health
- How to eat MORE of what our gut thrives on – evidence based nutritional messages to support sustainable healthier food and drink choices
- Addressing barriers, practical solutions and resources to facilitate steps towards healthier eating
Our aim is to promote compassionate, consistent, positive and sustainable evidence based nutritional messages for our Somerset population, starting with our workforce and anyone who works with the public.
