Focus Forward: Navigating the Next Chapter (formerly known as Young Leaders Breakfast) is an opportunity for high school students to explore local careers and make connections with young professionals who recently walked in their shoes. Young professionals will answer questions, share personal stories, life lessons, information about schooling or training completed and career paths, successes, and failures in round table discussions with students.We hope to bring inspiration, confidence, and connections for career paths, job shadows, mentorship, and post high school graduation plans, as well as showcase the opportunities that exist in the Greater Fond du Lac Area.
Chaperones will have an opportunity to participate in an activity led by Christa Williams, Executive Director of Sophia Transformative Leadership Partners.
Event Timeline:
8:40 – 9:05 a.m. – Student registration & breakfast
9:15 a.m. – Opening remarks
9:30 a.m. – Round table discussions begin
10:55 a.m. – Closing remarks
**If you are a young professional volunteer, event details will be communicated to you directly via email. Young Professionals do not need to register.**
