Even though the Discrimination Law (2013) is now firmly established in Jersey, many employers continue to have questions about what this means in practice within the workplace. Common questions include whether it is still appropriate to share humour at work, discuss cultural backgrounds, or talk about and celebrate different religious or cultural festivals.
In this session our training partner, Paul Beard, will help explore what is and is not appropriate in today’s workplace environment. There will also be time for questions, and we will explain how Focus can support your organisation to minimise risk, promote inclusion, and navigate the practical implications of Jersey’s discrimination legislation with confidence.
Aim to arrive for 7:45am, help yourself to the breakfast options provided, and be seated ready for the seminar to begin at 8:00am.
