The 4 day class to build and 8 foot tall version of that dragon in now in the reserve your spot phase. I have heard that 10 people are very excited. August 6-7-8-9, 2026
The class works like this. You pay for 16 hours of class time. There will be a 7:00 until 10:00 class Thursday and Friday night. Then on Saturday and Sunday the class will run from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM with lunch and supper breaks. Now you can mix it up as to when you can come.
The first night is a lecture on what the project is. You do not have to be experienced. The whole program with be a version of my one on one classes. I will continuously be instructing. Friday night will be serious planning. I will lay out group assignments, about 3-4 people groups with certain parts to carve.
Saturday the cutting and carving starts. Later Sunday night it will come together for assembly. It possibly will be sealed with epoxy at that point. The carving will be finished and then a team that can paint will finish. You can come to any class or all of them each day. It is up to you. You will have 26 hours to chose from.
The conclusion is for some group to use the sculpture as a fund raiser. We will decide that soon.
Right now you need to look me up on Foam Carving Methods by Mitch Mitton. Then send me an email and pay your fee of $500. As I said there has been a lot of interest in a class in the Seattle area, now is that chance.
