Friday Night Casual draft - come crack some packs and have some fun. This is a casual event suitable for all players.
Entry: £18.00
Registration ends: 18:20pm
Event starts: 18:30pm
You will be given 3 Play Boosters from Reality Fracture with which you will have 45 minutes to draft & deckbuild in your pods.
Reality Echoes features some different drafting rules to normal - when you open each pack, you choose 2 cards, instead of the usual 1, for each pick you make throughout the packs. Players are encouraged to take at least 1 Echoed Pair opened in their boosters throughout the drafting portion.
Use this time to build a minimum 40 card deck, we have lands available should you need them, though, we do recommend bringing sleeves with you - these can also be purchased from the shop at the front before 7pm.
This will be followed by 3x 45 minute, best of 3, swiss rounds.
During this portion of the event there will be an "emblem" active for all players that allows players to reveal an Echoed Pair before the game starts, exile those cards and play one of the pair during the game as though it was in their hand.
An MTG Arena/Companion App account is required for participation.
Prize Pool:
Everyone will receive an additional Play booster, of value up to £5, for participating!
Special prizing will be given out during the Reality Echoes drafts. The player who performs above all other, across all pods will receive a special Reality Fracture pin.
Anyone who 3-0's their draft will receive a NON-foil promo pack, with 1st overall receiving a foil promo pack! (Whilst supplies last).
