Rounds:
The tournament will consist of 3, 60 minute rounds of CEDH gameplay.
Pairings:
Pairings will be based off a points system, which will be explained in a later in the document. It will be similar to normal swiss pairings.
Point System:
We will be using a points system to determine prize support and wins as to promote people to finish games.
1st place is 5 points, 2nd place is 3 points, 3rd and 4th will be 1 point.
Prize Support:
Normally we do pack per win as prize support and that will stay the same with exceptions.
0-5 points is 1 packs
6-10 points is 2 packs
11-15 points is 3 packs
16-20 is 4 packs
Points are set up this way to where if you don't win a pod that night, you still have the potential to get multiple packs!
Time:
The way we will handle time is if your pod runs out of time, you will do 1 more rotation around the pod then if nobody has won, it will be determined by life total.
Rules and Regs:
Slow Playing
We are strongly against slow playing as that is against the spirit of the game and if you are suspected of slow playing, you will receive 0 points for the round.
Proxies:
The only proxies allowed will be reserve list cards.
Decks:
Decks can not be changed out between rounds. Like most other tournaments, you can’t change decks between rounds so keep that in mind.
Combo Wins:
If you have a combo that wins you the game IE Oracle and Consultation, infinite ping damage, etc. You simply win the game and the other players continue. This way we can determine who got other placings. Somebody could potentially have infinite lighting bolts and choose the order of placings and we want to avoid that situation.
