Matt Hagen strums guitar and sings songs that include navigating playful interactions with kids and adults alike. By combining the poetic wit of Shel Silverstein, the tone and swing of Johnny Cash and masterful improvisation from over 25 years of songwriting and performing, each show is as unique as each person in attendance.
Matt Hagen is a prolific songwriter and has been contributing music to the Burlington, VT area since 2003. He currently plays in a wide variety of original bands that include The High Breaks, Matthew Mercury, Matt the Gnat and the Gators, Hagen’s Classy Boss, is a vinyl DJ with Local Dork and in an array of tribute acts such as Purple (Prince), Burning Monk (Rage Against the Machine) and Darkside of the Mountain (Pink Floyd).
What is FlynnZone Kids Hour?
FlynnZone Kids Hour is a new free monthly performance series designed for kids ages 3-5. Each month, the Flynn invites a different local artist or group to the theater to play a variety of fun and interactive shows in a safe and welcoming environment. Shows are held on the second Saturday of each month at 10 am.
