This Floorwork and Flying Low workshop is for everyone - no classical dance training or experience is needed!
If you can walk, run, and squat, you’re ready to go. We’ll explore smooth and playful movements on how to get into the floor, out of the floor and across the floor with ease. How to use the floor as a helper to move towards and push from to get momentum, maybe even doing small 'tricks. We will work on the floor, across the floor and with a partner. Sliding, gliding, turning, diving, leaning and spiralling. You will discover new ways to flow through space!
We will have small brakes during the workshops, go in groups to create space for full body movements and also help each other two and two.
WORKSHOP SERIES
This workshop is number 1 in a series of 2. You can join either the first, second or both.
If you join the first workshop you will receive a 10 % discount for the second workshop as well (you will receive an email with a discount-code when buying the first workshop).

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Ida Frost is a diverse dancer and physical performer. With a background in gymnastic, she is now working as a professional dancer, performer and acrobat. Her movement interests flow from urban house grooves, to contemporary softness into installation art and acrobatics. No rules, no boxes, just expression, curiosity, humor and the trust of a diverse movement journey in all aspects of life. In addition to her dance career Ida also just finished her education as manuvision Bodytherapist.
