Thursday, December 11 | Bugger Night
The foundational fly for every tyer, the techniques used to tie a Woolly Bugger apply to just about every style of tying. While it's a simpler fly to learn, there are tons of variations for more advanced tyers. We’ll be mixing in rubber legs, cone heads, and more. It’s truly a versatile pattern that works great for trout and bass alike.
Thursday, January 15 | Streamer Night
One of our personal favorites, we'll be tying two popular streamer patterns: the Clouser Minnows and Kreelex. These two patterns are fantastic for trout and smallmouth bass, providing great practice with tying eyes on flies.
Thursday, February 12 | Musky Night
Virginia is home to some of the best musky fishing in the southeast, requiring big rods and big flies! We'll be tying Single-Hook Bufords and Jacknifes, two great intro patterns for musky fishing and fly tying.
