Fly Me to the Mooncake Festival: Storytime, Mooncake Making, and More
About this Event
The Mid-Autumn Festival, sometimes called the Moon Festival, falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month (Sept. 25 this year). Second only to Lunar New Year, it's widely celebrated in Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Japanese communities. A homecoming holiday, people come together to light lanterns, gaze at the full moon, and, most of all, feast on mooncakes.
