What comes to mind when you see these colorful, fluttering fliers? Perhaps important pollinators for wildflowers and other plants? Or is it the truly astonishing transformation they undergo from a caterpillar? How about some of them performing fairly long-distance migrations? Whatever you may already know about these interesting insects - I bet there is still plenty more that we can tell you about them.
Join us on Saturday, June 6th at 11 AM and 2 PM for our 'Fly, Fly Butterfly' educational program at the Discovery Center in Newport News Park.
