This high-energy, hands-on event is open to all youth ages 11–17 — no experience or equipment needed. We provide everything!
What’s Included:
✔️ All fly fishing gear
✔️ Lunch & bottled water
✔️ Coffee for adults
✔️ Exclusive online video learning series (sent after registration)
✔️ Merit Badge support & Blue Card (if requested)
We’ll start the morning at Adventure Point learning essential skills, knots, and casting techniques — then head just 10 minutes west to the river to put those skills into action!
Registered Scouts BSA who want to earn the Merit Badge must complete pre-requisites in advance (we’ll send everything needed). Not taking it for the badge? No problem — come just for the fun and skills!
🌧️ Rain or Shine Event – waterproof boots and rain jackets recommended.
Parent supervision is not required for the morning session, but feel free to stick around for some free lessons in casting and fly tying! We do ask a parent or leader to join us for the river portion starting at 1:45PM.
