Meet Dyonna Chandelle Potter

Dyonna Chandelle Potter is an accomplished artist, enthusiastic art educator, and proud member of 81C’s Art and Education Advisory Board. Born and raised in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Dyonna began her artistic journey as a high school student at The School of Visual Arts & Careers (SVAC) and participated in productions at Pistarckle Theatre in Tillett Gardens Center for the Arts.

She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art & Design in Atlanta, GA, and holds certificates in Graphic Design from Pace University and Shillington School of Graphic Design.

After working as a Technical Designer for major fashion houses in New York City, Dyonna returned to St. Thomas in 2020, where she discovered her love for art education as a K-12 art teacher.

A creative soul with a passion for art, design, and education, Dyonna is committed to nurturing artistic talent and inspiring the youth of the Virgin Islands to explore higher levels of artistic expression. Her short-term goals include growing as a reputable local artist and continuing to bring ideas to life through her unique artistic lens.
