Thank you to our 4-Hers who completed the 4-H competitions survey! After reviewing the results, Equine Extravaganza and Crop Scouting were the top choices.
Floyd County 4-H is hosting a Competition Kickoff meeting for youth interested in Equine Extravaganza and Crop Scouting! Whether you love horses, enjoy learning about agriculture, or just want to try something new, this is a great opportunity to explore competitive 4-H events. Open to youth in 4th-12th grade.
During the meeting, you’ll learn what each competition involves, participate in fun hands-on activities, ask questions, and find out what practices and competition opportunities will look like. We also will briefly talk about other competitions kids showed interest in on the survey, including WHEP, meat judging, skill-a-thon, etc.
