Flowers Anyhow is a fine art photography exhibition about resilience.
The work moves from Full Night to Full Sun — tracing the light that lives in us even in our darkest hours, and the quiet power of blooming anyway. Like flowers that push through concrete and reach for whatever light is available, this exhibition is about growing through adversity without waiting for perfect conditions. Rooted in the writer's Audre Lorde's belief that it is the artist's job to turn her rage into flowers, this work takes the weight of living and transforms it into something luminous that anyone who has ever had to keep going will recognize.
Join artist Sharelle Mone't Thompson for one evening of art, conversation, and good company — hosted inside Verbena Free Spirited, a cozy café and gathering space where community and creativity feel right at home.
