Slow down, get creative and connect with nature in this hands-on flower pressing workshop led by Nikki Quartermaine, founder of Kaya Kwobidak.
Using seasonal flowers and foliage, participants will learn simple flower pressing techniques and create their own pressed floral artwork to take home. Alongside the creative process, the workshop also offers opportunities to reflect on the cultural significance of plants, connection to Country and creative expression.
Known for creating welcoming and reflective experiences, Nikki’s workshops bring together botanical knowledge, creativity and wellbeing in a relaxed and engaging environment suitable for all ages.

You’ll find Joondalup Contemporary Art Gallery between the Joondalup Library and City of Joondalup Administration Building, next to the Council Chambers.
Free public parking is available in the Library Car Park. Alternatively, the gallery is a 13-minute walk from Joondalup Train Station, or you can catch the Blue CAT bus, which departs every 15 minutes from the station.

Joondalup Contemporary Art Gallery features a flat, level floor surface and wide doorways.
Accessible toilets are available in the gallery.
