Create your very own wet felted "wool painting" of a favorite Summer flower, the Sunflower! I will walk you through the steps to lay out and wet felt a beautiful sunflower picture using wool, prefelt, luster fiber, and wool nepps. Techniques used: We will focus on learning how to lay out an even base of fiber for the background, how to use prefelt to create design effects and add dimension, and how to use luster fibers to add texture and interest. All fiber and tools will be provided for use during the class. The finished project will be approximately 8x10" in size and take approximately 3 hours to complete. This class is suitable for beginners.
