Flower Farm Day for Kids at Mill Creek

9:00 am - Storytime + snacks
9:30 am - 11:30am

Tour the mum field + check out our solar panels
Plant a (free) plant to take home
Enjoy our coloring station + scavenger hunt
We love showing kids all about a different kind of farming - horticulture + floriculture! This Flower Farm Day is the perfect day for kids (and adults!) to learn about our sustainable and innovative practices at Mill Creek.
We're kicking it off with storytime at 9:00 am, reading books about flowers, farms, and tractors. Snacks + drinks will be provided (for kids and grown-ups).
Then after storytime, our commercial John Deere tractor and our gator will be available for climbing in + checking out. We'll have staff available to lead tours of our fall mum fields + the solar panels that power our growing operation. Every kid can plant a flower to take home!
After storytime, the event is come and go from 9:30-11:30am. Our coloring station and a scavenger hunt will be available throughout the morning!
Come and spend one last summer hurrah at Mill Creek before school starts!
