Flower Day x Super Nouveau Wine Tasting
About this Event
James Miziolek has over 10 years of making wine under his belt, taking place across the Lower Mainland, Okanagan, and all the way in Georgia (the country, not the state). Making his way through Vancouver's hospitality scene as the former wine director of The Acorn and working the busy floors of Nero Tondo, he's always been an advocate for letting quality ingredients tell the story. "Jimmy" or "Mizi", as friends often call him, started Flower Day Wine to pave way for hyper-local, low-intervention winemaking with grapes sourced from less than a 2-hour drive from Vancouver.
Join us at Les Faux Bourgeois on Monday, August 31st for a guided tasting through ALL the wines James has made under the label thus far, along with a live winemaking demonstration! Feel free to stick around after for more glasses of wine and some classic French bistro cooking by the Fobo kitchen.
WHEN: Monday, August 31st @ 5:30-7:30pm
WHERE: Les Faux Bourgeois (663 East 15th Ave)
