Create a stunning fused glass bowl bursting with color, texture, and dimension! In this beginner-friendly class, you'll design a vibrant floral mosaic using colorful glass and one of the most satisfying tools in the studio—glass nippers.
Learn how to shape the glass into organic petals, leaves, and decorative accents, then arrange them into a design that is uniquely your own. The finished bowl is build on two separately nipped layers of glass, creating beautiful depth, texture, and visual interest that truly comes to life after firing.
During this two-hour class you'll be guided step-by-step through the process of creating your bowl. You will learn:
How to safely use glass nippers to create organic shapes and texture rich designs
Tips for designing flowers, leaves, and decorative accents from sheet glass
How to layer glass for added depth and dimension
The basics of glass fusing and how different firing schedules affect texture and shape
After class, we'll fire your project twice—first to fuse all the layers together, then again to slump it into a functional bowl. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece of glass art that's as beautiful to display as it is useful.
We offer a menu which includes sodas, wine, and cocktails to help make your creative evening even more enjoyable!
No experience necessary. All tools and materials are provided. This class is suitable for adults and creative teens ages 14 and up.
Your finished bowl will be ready approximately 7–10 days after class. We'll contact you by text when it's ready for pickup.
