Teoksen ruotsalaiset esiintyjät, sirkustaiteilija Vejde Grind ja muusikko Mischa Grind käsittelevät teoksessa veljeyden teemaa pilke silmäkulmassa. Kansanmusiikkin erikoistunut Mischa tuo näyttämölle valtavan määrän rumpuja, Vejde puolestaan taituroi valtavien cyr-renkaiden kanssa. Leikkisässä esityksessä veljekset haastavat nykyajan ja perinteen sekä kehon ja instrumentin väliset rajat. Tuloksena on tiivistunnelmainen ja humoristinen teos.
Two brothers in an absurd hybrid circus about heritage, creative telepathy, and finding new paths!
OPA FASHION is a show brimming with unique musical inventions, technological marvels, singing, circus and dance!
The Swedish performers in the show – circus artist Vejde Grind and musician Mischa Grind – explore the theme of brotherhood with a twinkle in their eyes. Mischa, who specialises in folk music, brings a vast array of drums to the stage, whilst Vejde performs skilfully with enormous cyr rings. In this playful performance, the brothers challenge the boundaries between the modern and the traditional, as well as those between the body and the instrument. The result is an intense and humorous show.
