Flow for Healing: A Yoga Fundraiser for Life-Changing Neurosurgery

This community yoga class was created as a way to come togethr in support of Grace's ongoing medical journey with Chiari Malformation and Filum Disease, a nuerological condition that has requiered extensive imaging, specialist care, and upcoming surgery in Barcelona Spain.

Grace has practiced yoga since the age of 10 and previously served as the Executive Director of a nonprofit organization that brought trauma-informed yoga and meditation to the underserved and underrepresented communities of Nevada. Yoga has long been a foundation for her personal healing and work in the world.

Due to her diagnosis, Grace's own yoga practice has become limited in ways she never antisipated. This event is both a return to community and an opportunityfor collective care - offering support during a season when reciving help is essential.

The class will be led by Shawana Thomas and is designed to be all-levels, accessible. and supportive. Participants are welcomed whether they are experienced practitioners or brand new to yoga.

By purchasing a ticket, attendees directly support Grace's medical care, including diagnostics, specialist visits, and treatment planning.
