Join us to learn about the biology and conservation story of the Florida Panther
About this Event

Did you know that Florida has two native wild cats? Panthers and bobcats! On this nature walk we will learn about the biology and ecology of our beloved Florida Panther. We will also cover the conservation story of the Florida Panther, the current population status and what is being done to save this magnificent large cat.



DETAILS
  • FREE program, but reservations are required
  • This program will begin at 9:00am and last until approximately 10:30pm
  • The length of this nature walk is approximately 1-1.5 miles across various natural surfaces
  • Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear
  • Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray
  • Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult
  • No pets
  • All participants will be required to sign waivers that will be provided at the start of the program
