Join us for an exciting and educational class - Florida Invasive Plant Species: Challenges, Impacts, and Management Solutions
This class provides an in-depth overview of Florida's invasive plant species, exploring the challenges they pose to native ecosystems, their environmental and economic impacts, and effective management and control strategies to mitigate their spread.
This presentation is brought to you by Patton Glaze, a Biologist, that has lived in Pensacola, FL for 8 years and worked as an Environmental Specialist with the Florida Park Service since 2024 after serving as a member of the Florida Conservation Corps. She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Plant Science and a minor in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. She's passionate about the conservation, protection, and interpretation of our unique and priceless Florida natural resources. NBSTCC is proud to collaborate and partner with Patton to offer this awesome education class.
NBSTCC has a "No Refund Policy" to ensure the smooth operation of the facility and to provide a memorable experience for all guests. Thank you in advance and we look forward to your visit! NBSTCC opens to the public at 10am, during the last 30 minutes, when the participants are on the self-guided exploration, enjoying a Scavenger Hunt, or shopping in the Gift Shop, there may be public guests arriving to visit the NBSTCC.
