About this Event

This lecture will provide all the basic tools that residents need to start successful gardening 🪴in southwest Florida. The nine principles of FFL are:

  1. Right Plant, Right Place
  2. Water Efficiently
  3. Fertilize Appropriately
  4. Mulch
  5. Attract Wildlife 🦋
  6. Manage Yard Pests Responsibly
  7. Recycle
  8. Reduce Stormwater Runoff
  9. Protect the Waterfront

Each of these principles are covered throughly so that you can set your landscape up for success.
