Downtown's favorite award-winning block party returns on Friday, August 28 to the 100 block of S. Dargan Street!
This month, we welcome for the first time to the Florence After 5 stage, The Konnection Band, hailing from North Carolina. Since 2005, The Konnection has earned its reputation as one of the East Coast’s premier party bands—bringing high-energy performances and a crowd-pleasing mix of Top 40, Rock, Country, R&B, Beach, and Oldies to every stage they hit.
With thousands of shows under their belt, The Konnection has headlined major festivals and signature events across the region and has shared the stage with an impressive lineup of national and regional artists, including The Charlie Daniels Band, Delbert McClinton, Travis Tritt, Colt Ford, Exile, Diamond Rio, Ray Scott, Jim Quick & Coastline, The Fantastic Shakers, Craig Woolard Band, Chairmen of the Board, and many more.
The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and the band hits the stage at 6. Lawn chairs are welcome, but coolers are not allowed. Admission is FREE courtesy of our Platinum Sponsors, Victors, MUSC Health - Florence, The Citizens Bank, and Southern Crown Partners featuring Wicked W**d Brewing.
