Loftus Accord invites you to join them on the first walk of the season - the floral walk. Meet at Loftus Town Hall for a 10.30am start. Harry and Kath Waring, our most experienced local walk leaders will guide you through local woodlands to Handale Abbey ruins. We cannot guarantee bluebells , but the chance to see the beautiful countryside and flowers on our doorstep. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for mainly off road walking , which will include stiles, ascents and descents .Bring a packed lunch for a break in the walled garden.A voluntary contribution of £3 per adult towards the running costs of the group would be appreciated. Well-behaved dogs on short leads at all times are welcome.
Loftus is well-served by several excellent cafes , shops and pubs for refreshments after the walk. There are a number of free car parks in Loftus. Buses Arriva X4 and 5, Stagecoach 1 and 2 serve the town.
