Floral Design 101: Learning the Basics (May)

Class Description:

Come design a spring floral arrangement with Allie Lavigne! This class will start with a demonstration of sustainable floral design techniques, including a hand tied bouquet and a bowl arrangement. Participants will then use these skills, along with Allie’s hands-on guidance, to create their own arrangement(s). This course will take your floral design skills to the next level!

Supplies:

• Clippers (d'Art has a limited # of clippers available for use, if needed)
• Apron 
• one medium-large vase or two smaller vases 
• 2-3 floral bouquets of your choice 
• 1-3 bunches of greenery 
• box for transport 

For the Floral/Botanicals

• You may bring flowers from your own garden (or a friend’s) 

• Purchase from the Instructor at East Beach Farmers Market, Saturdays 9-noon
• Bring florals/botanicals from any florist, greenhouse or grocer that you wish to
