🌼 Art Zone Feature Night: Floral Collage with Linda Greig — June 25

As part of the Commercial Street Night Market, Pacific Arts Market is proud to present another evening of hands‑on creativity in our brand‑new Gallery at 460 Wallace St., right at the head of Commercial Street.

Our Art Zone programming runs every Thursday from 5:30–7:30pm, bringing live demos, interactive experiences, and behind‑the‑scenes artistry to the heart of downtown Nanaimo.

On June 25, we’re thrilled to feature local artist Linda Greig, who will be hosting an engaging, collaborative floral‑collage experience.

Linda will be set up in front of her gallery wall space, where she’ll begin creating a live floral collage using her signature torn‑paper technique. As she works, she’ll walk visitors through her process, discuss elements of composition, and answer questions while building the piece in real time.

Guests are invited to take part by creating their own torn‑paper flower to add to the growing community collage. With Linda’s artwork displayed behind her, participants will get a clear sense of how her process evolves from simple shapes to richly layered finished pieces.

This interactive demo is inspired by a recent session Linda led with the DeCosmos Fine Arts Society, where attendees gathered around, contributed ideas, and even helped glue pieces into place. Expect that same welcoming, collaborative energy — but with more time, more creativity, and the vibrant atmosphere of the Night Market all around.
