On a large map of Canada, the adventurer uses souvenirs to recount their journey to Nunavut where they met FLOCON, a zany penguin.


On their travels they encounter an old Inuit woman who tells them how the Northern Lights were born, a multitude of nordic animals and the magical and majestic landscapes.,


But what is a penguin from Antarctica doing in the north so far from home?

About The Artist

JESSICA BLANCHET is a trained actress and puppeteer and participates in plays, puppet shows and improvised performances for various theater companies across her home province of Quebec.


It was in 2011 that she began creating the puppet show FLOCON, which premiered at “Festival International des Arts de la Puppete” in Saguenay, Quebec.


Jessica specializes in creating interactive shows that break down the 4th wall. She presents dozens of workshops each year in the creating and performing of puppets in schools, organizations and festivals.


Jessica has designed and created puppets for the theater, the screen and well as various community intervention organizations.

Sur une grande carte du Canada, l'aventurier raconte à l'aide de souvenirs son voyage jusqu'au Nunavut où il a rencontré FLOCON, un petit pingouin .


Au cours de leur voyage, ils rencontrent une vieille femme inuit qui leur raconte comment sont nées les aurores boréales, une multitude d'animaux nordiques et des paysages magiques et majestueux.


Mais que fait un pingouin de l’Antarctique dans le nord, si loin de chez lui ?


Ce spectacle merveilleux pour tous les âges est parfait pour les familles à la recherche d’une activité amusante et engageante pendant les vacances de mars. À propos de l’artiste


JESSICA BLANCHET est comédienne et marionnettiste de formation et participe à des pièces de théâtre, des spectacles de marionnettes et des performances improvisées pour diverses compagnies de théâtre à travers sa province natale du Québec. 


C'est en 2011 qu'elle débute la création du spectacle de marionnettes FLOCON, présenté en première au Festival International des Arts de la Marionnette à Saguenay, Québec. 


Jessica se spécialise dans la création de spectacles interactifs qui brisent le 4ème mur. Elle présente chaque année des dizaines d'ateliers de création et de représentation de marionnettes dans des écoles, des organismes et des festivals.


Jessica a conçu et créé des marionnettes pour le théâtre, l'écran ainsi que divers organismes d'intervention communautaire.
