Flock of Dimes @ Outside

Flock of Dimes is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Jenn Wasner, a quietly formidable presence whose work spans basements to stadium stages, and collaborations with a long list of artists including Helado Negro, Hand Habits, Future Islands, Sharon Van Etten and Deerhoof, among many others. She is also a band member of Bon Iver and part of Sylvan Esso’s extended live lineup. Best known as one half of Wye Oak, Wasner’s catalogue balances raw emotional clarity with a left-of-centre sonic instinct, off-kilter guitars, subtle syncopation, and songwriting that cuts close to the bone.
Her third album, The Life You Save (Sub Pop Records), is self-produced and most intimate and exposed work to date. Where previous releases reflected on the past, this record sits squarely inside the present, unflinching in its exploration of addiction, co-dependency and the quiet, complicated work of untangling yourself from both. Doors 6pm, we'll be serving pizzas from 6pm-7.30pm and the bar will be open all evening.
We have a total of 200 tickets available. There is no age restriction for this event however all children will require their own ticket and under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult 1:1.
