Join us for a magical afternoon of Japanese-inspired activities, creativity, reflection, and connection at the Bunbury Garden Labyrinth.
✨ What to Expect:
Decorate your own lantern to float at sunset or take home
Walk the labyrinth in a community ceremony
Sakura Photo-booth (Gold coin donation)
Japanese tea ($5)
Kids’ craft workshops ($5)
Lolly drop with Kite Kinetics
Live Japanese music
Spring sunshine, good vibes, and meaningful moments
🎨 Lantern Options:
Float Your Lantern – $25 (includes floating base, design your paper lantern)
Take-Home Lantern – $30 (for display only, not for floating)
Pre-order your lantern via the ticket link – limited numbers available!
🌅 Sunset Ceremony:
At sunset, we’ll gather in the centre of the labyrinth and walk together to the foreshore for the floating ceremony. It’s a gentle, reflective moment to honour loved ones or release a wish into the water.
🎟️ Free entry to the festival – just purchase your lantern in advance if you’d like to join the ceremony. Lantern numbers are limited and won’t be available at the gate.
🌱 Please note: only floating lanterns provided with a base may be placed on the water. All lanterns are eco-friendly and collected afterward.
