Floating Frequencies Sound Bath in the Garden of the Italianate Glasshouse, returns for the Outdoor Summer Series.
Join us for a restorative multi-instrumental sound bath held in the tranquil garden of the historic Italianate Glasshouse in Broadstairs. Surrounded by nature and the quiet presence of this 19th-century architectural gem, this outdoor session invites you to slow down, rest, and come back to yourself.
Guided by Eleanor, a multi-disciplinary wellness practitioner, the sound bath weaves together crystal quartz bowls, a gong, shruti, frame drums, chimes, vocals and a range of percussion and meditative instruments to settle the nervous system and quiet the mind.
Eleanor draws on a broad background in Ayurveda, breathwork, sound, energy, and colour therapy. She has trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine and the Ayurveda Institute UK, and under master teachers across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. In sound, she has trained with Sound Healing Bali under internationally renowned healer and musician Shervin Baloorian, and with the world-leading Tama-Do Academy, founded by Fabien Maman, a pioneer in vibrational therapy.
No experience needed - this session is open to all.
Cushioned mats and eye pillows are provided.
What to bring
Please bring a warm blanket or sleeping bag (this is ideal), a cushion, and anything else you need to be comfortable lying down outdoors. Even on sunny days, bring warm layers - you may be in a shaded area - and sun protection in case of direct sunlight.
A bottle of water.
Spaces are kept small for an intimate experience.
Weather notice:
As this is an outdoor event, please check the forecast on the day.
In the event of bad weather, the session will be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice by email or text, and your ticket will be transferred. Please note tickets are non-refundable.
Access & location:
The garden sits beside the Italianate Glasshouse within Montefiore Woodland Park.
From Montefiore Avenue: 50 metres from the park entrance
From Victoria Parade: a scenic 5-minute walk uphill through the park
