Join Surry Sunrise Rotary for the 1st Annual FLOAT FOR KIDS Rubber Duck Regatta in memory of Steve Norman and his pigeons. Ducks will race down Lovill’s Creek and the first duck to cross the finish line will award its ticket owner $3,000. Tickets are $100 each with proceeds going to the Surry County and Mt Airy City Schools’ backpack programs to fight food insecurity in our community. See any member to purchase a ticket. Come out for a fun morning and enjoy Duck Donuts and Coffee being served along with face painting. Event will take place on Greenway in Mt Airy behind Thailand Cafe. Do not have to be present to win BUT you will miss out on all of the FUN if you’re not there 🤩
