Join us for our Warm Up Flint 2026 Kickoff Party! As always, our goal for the year is to collect 1,000 handmade hats and scarves for those in need. <3
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
• Work on your knit/crochet project in the company of other creatives!
• Bring handmade hat and scarf donations for Warm Up Flint (WUF). We'd love to collect 100 pieces total at the event to jumpstart our donations for 2026!
• Participate in a Warm Up Flint tag making activity. We have 1,000 tags to make for our hats and scarves. It's a lot, but we can do it with your help!
• Take a tour of the Whaley Historic House Museum, the former home of a prominent Flint family restored its 1880s-1890s Gilded Age glory.
Everyone who donates a item to WUF 2026 and/or makes WUF tags will receive a FREE shirt from one of our generous sponsors, Thrivent. People who donated to WUF 2025 will also receive a FREE shirt if they haven't already.
Open to the public. Free admission. Light refreshments. Please consider making a donation to support our host location, Whaley Historic House Museum.
