FlexMR Cross Bay Walk for St John's Hospice

The Morecambe Cross Bay Walk is a historic hiking route that crosses Morecambe Bay in Northwest England. The route has connected Hest Bank, Lancashire with Kents Bank, Cumbria for centuries, but presents many hazards, including weather, tides, quick sands, and unpredictable channels.

Approximately 8 miles long, and taking an average 3-4 hours, the walk is a popular fundraising activity - connecting walkers to a sense of history and local tradition, whilst supporting important causes. The FlexMR team will attempt this challenging crossing on Monday, June 9th 2025 to raise funds for St John's Hospice as part of our commitment to this important local charity.
