Nascar Hardbody Class
1-Chassis
• Any 4 1/2 hardbody metal chassis can be used
• 1/8" rear axle only, can be “flatted” or standard
• 3/32" or 1/8" front axle, independent rotation allowed including using retro chassis style front axle (must conform to max width rule)
• Oilites or bearings allowed throughout
• No cutting of the frame for weight reduction purposes with exception to cleaning up edges on chassis that can damage track or for bushing/bearings
• Chassis bracing and/or weight may be added on top of the frame only
2-Motor & Gearing
Approved motors:
• Mid-America Stomp (30K)
• Hawk 25
• Required gearing: 8/28 (48-pitch)
3-Tires
•Must be “hardbody” branded tires
•white or yellow lettered tires required (for realistic NASCAR appearance)
•Jk hardbody tires, Mid America hardbody tires, HR hardbody tires, and Protrack Daytona stockers
•Tires must be at a minimum of .950 height
•Rear tires .810 maximum width
•Front tires minimum width .400
4-Clearance and weight requirements:
• Rear axle: .047" minimum from tech block to chassis
• Front axle: .010" minimum from tech block to chassis
• Maximum width: 3.25" at tires
• Minimum weight at tech: 170 grams
5-Body
• Any 1/24 or 1/25 scale NASCAR hardbody kit (any year)
• Must include a 3D driver with at least two colors (3d printed, custom or lexan style)
• No excessive modification of wheel wells to lower the body
• Must retain original plastic windshield and windows
•Guide flag must not protrude outside the body **chassis protruding on the sides ok**
•no excessive grinding of inside of body for weight reduction (removal of flashing, body posts, or other oem model “body to chassis” mounting permitted)
•No convertibles/roofless nascar bodies
•Must have 3 numbers
6-Weight
• Minimum weight at tech: 170 grams

Test and tune June 26 at 1:00 pm until 9 pm Saturday June 27 doors open at 8am for race day ! Inspections at 9:30 am sharp !
