About this Event
Your Fleet Feet coaches will help you with all you need to meet your race goal whether it’s your first half marathon or you’re looking to set a new PR. We’ve structured our 10-week training program to peak with the Jersey City Half Marathon on April 13 and a two week extension for the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half on April 27. (If you are running a different spring race, we can work with you to modify the training plan to suit your race.)
Our training approach has been time tested and honed over the years. We’ve got an ideal mix of endurance building, speed runs, hill workouts, cross training, and long runs to get you ready for race day. Come train with us!
The training program includes:
- A 10 or 12 week training program (the fun begins on February 3rd!)
- Access to RRCA certified running coaches via in-person, phone, email, WhatsApp
- Guided speed and hill workouts on Tuesday evenings
- Group runs on Wednesday evenings (concurrent with Fleet Feet’s Wednesday Fun Runs)
- Guided long runs on Saturday mornings with pace group leaders
- In partnership with several local businesses you'll get these added perks:
- Urban Souls Yoga: cool down yoga at Fleet Feet following select Tuesday workouts and select sessions at the Urban Souls studio
- Rumble Boxing: Free boxing classes for cross training
- Spear Physical Therapy: Injury prevention and stretching lessons at their clinic
- Zen Om Studio: Discounted recovery treatments at their studio (e.g., Normatec compression boots, cryo therapy)
- Prime Cycle + Body: Free classes for cross training
- F45 Training Hoboken North: Free classes for cross training
- Orangetheory: Free classes for cross training

- Weekly tips to get you ready for race day
- A private WhatsApp group for participating athletes to collaborate
- A “Fleet Feet Racing Team” tech race shirt
- Post-race celebration at Fleet Feet
- In-store discount for the duration of the training program (15% off running shoes and 20% off apparel - excludes sale items and electronics)
- $25 store credit for athletes who have participated in a previous Fleet Feet Hoboken training program
- Discounted registration for the Jersey City Half (you will receive the promo code after registering for the training program)
- Discounted registration for the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half (you will receive the promo code after registering for the training program)
NOTE:
- Participants should be comfortable running 5 miles at the start of the program
- The training program cost does not include race registration fees
