Fleet Farm Salutes Taps Across America - Beaver Dam, WI

At 2:50 p.m. on Monday, May 25, 2026, come to your local Fleet Farm store for a brief memorial ceremony featuring a live bugler who will sound Taps at 3 pm. This special sounding of Taps will be directly preceded by a storewide minute of silence during the National Moment of Remembrance. A local community Color Guard will join in the ceremony.

More about Taps Across America

Taps Across America is a nationwide tribute dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of our fallen military heroes. Started in 2020 by retired Air Force bugler Jari [Yar-ee] Villanueva, co-founder of Taps for Veterans, this powerful tradition began as one way to bring Americans together during the pandemic. Thousands of musicians—professional and amateur alike—took to their front porches and local landmarks to sound Taps at 3 p.m., directly following the National Moment of Remembrance. What started as a solitary moment of remembrance has grown into an annual Memorial Day tradition.

From the beginning, Fleet Farm has been proud to support this tribute that offers our local community a moment to honor, remember and reflect on the true spirit of Memorial Day.
