The Indiana Historical Society invites the community for a monthly taste of history. Every month we highlight the food culture of different countries that serve as a universal connector to us all.
Join us for a monthly taste of history as we highlight the food culture that has shaped and continues to shape the Heartland. Food is a universal connector; it connects us reminds us of our past and introduces us to new cultures. The dishes we eat are flavored by the communities and cultures that call Indiana home. Take a break and enjoy the stories and smells of the dishes that make up our food heritage. Each month will feature a historical family or community recipe as presenters share stories of their food culture. Copies of recipes will be provided for guests to recreate at home.
