Flavored Hummus Workshop for Kids at FigMINT Farms

Looking for a way to make healthy snacking fun? -- Look no further. This is a fun and educational workshop for all ages, but designed for kids brought to you by Sassool Mediterranean Cafe. Attendees will be recieve a little bit of fun education about hummus, its ingredients and health benefits. Chef Jen will be doing a demo of making hummus and asking questions to the kids about the process she demostrates.

Participants will then dive into mixing up their own custom flavor. They will be able to pick different purees and spices to scoop into their classic hummus. Each child will be able to whisk their ingredients together to finish their flavor of hummus. The hummus can be taken home and/or eaten on sight. Pita bread and GF pita bread will be available. Parents are welcome to participate in this workshop. This class is most appropriate for ages 4-12, but everyone is welcome!
