Flash Fiction Workshop for All WritersWhether you write novels, memoirs, or essays, flash fiction can sharpen your skills. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to tell a powerful story in under 1,000 words—while also improving word choice, structure, tension, conflict, deep POV, and dialogue. Fiction and non-fiction writers alike will walk away with tools to strengthen their craft, build their audience, and pursue publication.
Meet the Instructor:
Leslie Kirby DeVooght, an award-winning author and co-owner of Spark Flash Fiction, brings years of experience in publishing and writing. Her flash fiction has been featured in Writer’s Digest, and her debut novel, Stealing Magnolias, was released in May 2025. Her next book, Taking a Second Shot, will be out with Harlequin’s Love Inspired line this December.
