Creating Flash Fiction with Author Susan Osborn
Are you aware there is a huge market for flash fiction, including numerous contests with cash prizes? In addition to preparing you to become a player in this arena, this presentation will show how writing flash fiction can be fulfilling, fast, and fun. Techniques will be provided for saying in 50 words what others say in a book. There will be opportunities to create your own flash fiction tales, so please bring a laptop or paper and pen.
Susan is a creative non-fiction author and is currently writing a book about synchronicity and coincidences. Among her publications are the Awful Bosses Coloring Book, The System Made Me Do It! A Life Changing Approach to Office Politics, and Assertive Training for Women. She created and led a seminar on flash fiction for the Renaissance Society on the Sac State campus.
