4-Week Series or Drop-in Options
Wednesdays at Danspace, Downtown Halifax
Keep your flamenco spirit alive this summer while building strength, rhythm, confidence, and technique in a focused and supportive environment.
Whether you're continuing from spring classes or looking to stay connected to your dance practice during the summer months, these sessions offer a wonderful opportunity to deepen your understanding of compás, footwork, improvisation, and choreography.
Schedule
6:30–7:00 PM
Beginner Plus Footwork & Rhythm
For students with some previous flamenco experience, including Levels 1 & 2 students from the spring session.
7:00–8:00 PM
Multilevel Bulerías
Explore the energy and spontaneity of Bulerías through marcajes, llamadas, improvisation, rhythm exercises, and practical understanding of this festive flamenco style. Suitable for a range of experience levels.
8:00–8:30 PM
Progressive / Intermediate Footwork
Designed for dancers with approximately four or more years of flamenco training, as well as current Levels 3 & 4 students.
