Flamenco Orígenes celebrates the multitude of art forms that fed into the evolution of flamenco the traditional art form of the Andalusian people which evolved out of the melting pot of cultures and peoples that have lived and thrived in Andalusia in the South of Spain for millennia. We can trace flamenco’s roots to the four corners of the earth from ancient trade routes to modern shipping lanes – from the Guajiras which has roots in Cuba to the Arabic Zambra to the flamenco Milonga from Argentina art like the artist is in a constant state of change and flamenco has absorbed sounds and movements wherever it goes.
