Flag Raising Ceremony

You are being cordially invited to a Flag Raising Ceremony this Veterans Day at Eagle Island State Park.
Connor M. of Scout Troop 888 fundraised for and purchased a flagpole for Eagle Island's new roundabout, just outside of the new campground, in order to complete his Eagle Scout project. He and his troop will be holding a ceremony to raise the flag for the first time on Veterans Day (Wed, Nov 11th) at 5pm.
This is monumental for Eagle Island, as we have not had a flagpole since the closing of our Hatchery Road park entrance over 10 years ago.
