The Great Lakes Bay Veterans Coalition will be presenting their 30’ x 60’ American Flag at the Great Lakes Loons ballgame at Dow Diamond. The event is on July 4th at 7:05 PM. We will meet outside the diamond and practice at 5:30 PM.The event consists of an hour of practice prior to the game. Shortly before the game starts, we will line up near the third base entrance. Prior to the National Anthem we will walk out onto the field and unfurl the flag between second base and the pitcher’s mound. After the National Anthem, we will furl the flag back up and then walk off the field.
We have some tickets for those wishing to stay after and watch the game.
This project takes a minimum of 45 people to do safely.
If your organization wishes to help, we will also recognize you on the field.
