Fix Your Crown Movement: The Encounter 2024

The Fix Your Crown Movement (FYCM) was launched in May, 2019 by founder Kimberley 'Kimmy' Gooden and her supporting team. The conference was created to empower and encourage young girls aged 11-18. The aim was gather them together into a curated safe space, with the intention to build a positive community, share real life experiences and supply them with tools that would help them in their everyday lives - and ultimately reveal their sense of purpose. Since the first event where a tangible transformation took place in the room, FYCM has further expanded its target audience to both young men and women.

The FYCM team are committed to reaching those who are need of encouragement and to be in spaces that are wired to uplift and strengthen. Its ethos is to Encourage, Empower and Edify through the submergence of love through Christian principles - though all communities and backgrounds are welcome to all events.

To this day, the team regularly receive messages from young people and their guardians asking when the next conference will be, and we're excited to announce our 2024 meeting is underway!

FYCM is proud to present the theme for our 2024 conference: 'The Encounter'.

We will be exploring the following topics:

Gods love vs Human love - Exploring Gods unchanging and unconditional love, and how this compares to the limitations of human love and the different types of love / infatuations we hold.

God vs Humanity - Delving into Gods character and His heart, how He sees us as His children and how His Grace is sufficient for all of us.

Relationship with God vs Relationship with Religion - Often times, some people follow religious routines and practices thinking that those practicies alone makes them "right with God". However, we aim to encourage young people to form a strong and personal relationship with God that informs how they approach religious routines to support their everyday lives and their relationship with God and others from a healthy and truthful context.
