According to Chinese Medicine, there are five elements fundamental to the cycles of nature and our bodies: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. Each element is associated with a particular season, emotion, and organ system.
Join Kari for a soothing and introspective extended Yin practice to explore each element and the principles of the corresponding season to find balance, using specific Yin poses that complement each seasonal theme.
In this extended candlelight Yin practice, you will practice on the floor and hold poses for a longer duration, gently stretching the connective tissues and tendons to go deeper into your physical body. The stillness of this practice encourages inward reflection, providing an opportunity to address aspects of our lives that may be out of balance mentally, emotionally, and physically.
This centering practice will be illuminated entirely by candlelight/natural light.
